1, Look back on Exhibition
China Culture & Office Equipment Manufacturers Association (CCOEA) is composed of manufacturers of culture and office equipment as main body to include relevant design institutes, universities and colleges, business management and sales firms, group companies and enterprises working in fields of scientific research, education and service of culture and office equipment. CCOEA is a national social entity for those main trades: photographic machinery and material, motion picture machinery and material, audio-visual education equipment, photo-copying machinery and material, microfilm machinery and material, drafting and blueprinting machinery, accounting and banking office equipment, typing and mimeographing machinery and other culture and office equipment etc. CCOEA was founded in October 1990 and since then with support of governmental competent department has one after another successfully held trade's domestic and international fairs. The Exhibition held by CCOEA is to combine with trade development and trade activity to show on time trade's development achievements with newest results, to reflect enterprises' wishes and requirements, to serve enterprises and users and to promote trade and enterprise's development. Therefore holding of CCOEA Exhibition has got support and participation from foreign and domestic enterprises and wide users and CCOEA Exhibition holding scale and level has arisen incessantly to get good effect.
　　(1) During 1990-1992 CCOEA combined with Xinhua News Agency to hold "Photograph Material & Office Automation Equipment Exhibition" in separate two times in Beijing Nationality Cultural Palace to have Show area 3500 sq.m with more than 100 exhibitors.
　　(2) In 1993 CCOEA combined with Hangzhou Photograph Machinery Research Institute to hold "China International Office Automation Equipment & Photograph Audio-Visual Material Fair" in Hangzhou to have Show area 3500 sq.m with more than 110 exhibitors.
　　(3) In October 1995 CCOEA combined with Hong Kong Industrial & Commercial Exhibition Co. Ltd. to hold "China International Office Automation Equipment & Photograph Audio-Visual Material Fair" in Beijing to have Show area 8000 sq.m with more than 120 exhibitors including more than 20 foreign participants.
　　(4) In 1997 CCOEA combined with Hangzhou Photograph Machinery Research Institute to hold "China International Photograph Machinery Products Fair" in Hangzhou to have Show area 8000 sq.m with domestic and foreign exhibitors more than 130 firms to attract more than 10 thousand visitors.
In 1998 at the request of wide exhibitors and users CCOEA acted to split "China International Office Automation Equipment & Photograph Audio-Visual Material Fair" into 2 professional exhibitions namely "China International Photograph & Electrical Imaging Machinery and Technology Fair" (CHINA P & E) and "China International Modern Office Equipment and Technology Exhibition". So that the Exhibition held by CCOEA has more of its aim and is more welcomed.

2) Briefs of 4th CHINA P & E:
4th CHINA P & E is organized by China Machinery Industry Federation (CMIF) and CCOEA and co-sponsored by K?lnMesse GmbH to hold grandly during June 2-5,2001 in China International Exhibition Center, Beijing. Participants in this Fair are those famous manufacturers and business firms on photograph material from Japan, USA, European countries, South-East Asian countries, Hong Kong and Taiwan regions and domestic areas altogether near 200 exhibitors with Show area 13000 sq.m to attract approximate 100000 visitor times. 2001 CHINA P & E concluded business value (including value of intention letter) of RMB124.85 Million (sharing by Olympus RMB25 Million, Minolta RMB18.9 Million, Samsung RMB15 Million, Nikon RMB10 Million, Seagull RMB8 Million, Phenix RMB7.95 Million ….) to reach anticipated effect. This Fair is to stress an aim of trade service because after reform of State Administration of Machinery Industry how to reflect serving enterprises is a more stressed point in Association's management operation. In order to reflect this aim CHINA P & E Organizers Committee during Show period organized several meetings of News Release to have on-site reports by 133 news media firms. Various activities such as 2001 CHINA P & E Friendship Rendezvous, Digital Imaging New Century Forum, Photograph Technique Seminar, New Products Promotion Exchange, 21st Century Matrimonial Photograph Technology & Studio Business Strategy Symposium, Photographing Competition of 2001 CHINA P & E to meet Olympiad, Photograph Art Show, Trading Purchase Group, European Exhibitors Group's Shanghai Visit were held to promote exchanges between CCOEA and enterprises and among enterprises themselves. It sufficiently reflects CCOEA Fair's guiding thought of all-directions service to electrical imaging manufacturers to get appraisal from exhibitors.

3) Briefs of 5th CHINA P & E:
5th CHINA P & E is joint-organized by CMIF (competent department of photograph machinery manufacturing industry), CCOEA, CCPIT (administrative department of China's exhibiting trade) and China International Exhibition Center Group Corp. and co-sponsored by CCOEA and CIEC Exhibition Company Ltd. to hold grandly during June 20-23,2002 in Shanghai Everbright Convention & Exhibition Center, Shanghai. Participants in this Fair are manufacturers and business firms from Canon/Japan, Nikon, Kyocera, Sony, Minolta, Ricoh, Fuji, Concord/USA, Seagull, Phenix, Shanghai August 1st, Huq, Lucky Digit etc altogether 149 exhibitors in business of photograph material with Show area 13000 sq.m to attract 55000 visitor times. 2002 CHINA P & E concluded business value of RMB105 Million to reach anticipated effect and obtained gratifying achievement as it is a grand Fair of Chinese imaging trade in South-East Asian region. This Fair sufficiently shows the priority of cooperation between competent departments, the development of electrical imaging industry as well as vigorous life and vitality of market, also sufficiently reflects friendly cooperation of production and technology among world's electrical imaging manufacturers.

　　(2) China International Modern Office Equipment and Technology Exhibition
1) 1st China International Modern Office Equipment and Technology Exhibition is cooperated to hold parallel with China International Library Equipment and Technology Exhibition in Beijing Exhibition Hall during November 11-14, 1999 to get full success. The event is organized jointly by Financial Dept. of Ministry of Culture, CCOEA, CCPIT Beijing Branch. Participants in this Exhibition are manufacturers, scientific research institutes, business traders from USA, France, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, Singapore, Australia, Israel, the Netherlands etc total of 10 countries plus the Chinese Hong Kong Special Administration Region with a Show area 5000 sq.m attended by 10000 visitors. Main exhibiting content of Show is library's management automation system with equipment, library's audio-visual, image and video-educational equipment, different kinds of modern office equipment, material, consumables and micro-photographing equipment, photo-copying equipment, office furniture, office goods etc. During the Show period also organized related activities such as technical exchange, production and needs talk, trading to get good effect.
2) 2nd China International Modern Office Equipment and Technology Exhibition is held simultaneously with China International Library Equipment and Technology Exhibition in Beijing International Convention Center during May 10-14, 2001. The event is organized jointly by Financial Dept. of Ministry of Culture, CCOEA, CCPIT Beijing Branch. The 2nd Exhibition is another grand event to continue on the basis of successful 1st Exhibition. It is also an Exhibition attached to 2001 Beijing 4th Industrial Week on High & New Technology to use for reference of foreign experience of holding international exposition to open at same time those related and nearing products exhibitions and to show in separate halls. This is more convenient to exhibitors, visitors and users. Groups coming from different provinces and cities were quite active to visit, purchase and discuss for business in the Show period. 2nd Exhibition's scale and level is equivalent to 1st Exhibition to get same full success.
